FORMER PARTNER RECALLS FEAR AND HELPLESSNESS FOLLOWING ALLEGED ENCOUNTER WITH ROYAL

A man who was once romantically involved with Virginia Giuffre during their youth has come forward, corroborating distressing accounts from her memoir. He describes a phone call he received from her in 2001, during which she expressed profound fear following an alleged encounter with a senior British royal.

The individual, identified as her former partner, stated that during the call, Giuffre’s voice was trembling. She reportedly confided that she felt compelled into a situation she did not want, expressing a sense of powerlessness given the royal status of the individual involved. “What can I do? He’s a prince!” she is said to have told him.

The former partner also shared that their conversation turned to the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, with both acknowledging a terrifying fear that Giuffre could be harmed. He recounted feeling utterly helpless to intervene from abroad and doubting that anyone would believe his account if the worst were to happen.

He has expressed deep skepticism that any meaningful justice will be served for Giuffre, dismissing recent actions against the royal as inconsequential. “It’s just slaps on the wrist,” he remarked, indicating a loss of hope for substantive accountability.

The former partner revealed he attempted to reconnect with Giuffre in the weeks preceding her death earlier this year but was unsuccessful. Giuffre’s allegations against the royal, which he has consistently denied, were previously the subject of a civil lawsuit that was settled out of court.

In a recent development, a U.S. congressman has indicated that the royal may be asked to provide information to congressional investigators regarding a separate, wider criminal case, despite his efforts to distance himself from the convicted financier at the center of it.
