A prominent figure from the early days of a major reality television franchise has opened up about the possibility of returning to the series, while also clarifying her reasons for declining another high-profile opportunity.
In a recent podcast appearance, the star, who was part of the flagship series from its very first season, discussed the concept of rejoining the show in a reduced “friend” capacity—a role typically reserved for recurring, non-central cast members.
“I have no issue with the ‘friend’ role itself,” she stated. “The format is fine. But when I consider my own history—being there from Season 1, as the original cast member—the idea of coming back in that particular capacity gives me pause. I’m not sure it would be the right fit.”
Her comments come as speculation swirls about potential cast changes for the upcoming season of the long-running program.
Separately, the television personality addressed rumors surrounding her decision not to participate in the new season of a popular competitive reality series. She firmly denied reports that her choice was financially motivated.
“The narrative that I turned it down over money is completely false,” she clarified. “I was very excited about the offer. My decision was solely based on my family. My son was, and has been, seriously ill in the hospital. Committing to a production that films internationally was simply impossible at that time.”
She shared that her son, who suffered a major health event several years ago and later underwent a significant surgery, experienced a setback when his body began to reject the transplant. Her priority, she emphasized, was being present for his care and recovery.
“Had his health been where it is today—he’s making progress, like walking again—I would have absolutely moved forward with the project,” she explained.
The star also briefly alluded to past legal disputes with the network behind the franchise, noting that those matters have been resolved and that she remains open to future collaborations.
Her focus, for now, remains on her family. “It was a heartbreaking choice, but the only one I could make,” she said of declining the recent television offer.
