Former President Donald Trump stated he would release the results of a recent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan, which he described as “perfect.” However, he acknowledged he is unsure which specific area of his body was examined during the procedure.
“If you want it released, I’ll release it,” Trump told reporters, though no details from his annual physical or the imaging have been made public by his office.
The former president forcefully rejected any implication that the scan was related to an assessment of his mental acuity. He emphasized that the appointment was not a neurological evaluation, citing a recent cognitive test he said he passed without difficulty.
“It was just an MRI. What part of the body? It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and I aced it,” he said.
The comments follow recent media reports suggesting signs of fatigue. Trump has publicly disputed such characterizations on social media, writing that he has “never worked so hard” in his life and attributing the reports to political opponents. He has pointed to recent physical and cognitive exams as proof of his robust health.
Questions about Trump’s stamina and health have persisted, with observers noting instances where he appeared to fall asleep at public events and made occasional verbal stumbles. Earlier this year, he was diagnosed with a circulatory condition affecting his legs.
While his physician has stated Trump remains in “exceptional health” following a recent check-up, the nature of the “advanced medical imaging” he underwent has not been specified, leading to continued public speculation.
