Former “Bachelor” star Tyler Cameron is offering a glimpse into the forthcoming HGTV series “Bachelor Mansion Takeover,” suggesting the show will deliver more tension than viewers might anticipate.
Cameron, who serves as a judge on the program alongside fellow franchise alum Tayshia Adams, indicated the atmosphere is far from relaxed. “I expected it to be more low-key, but that’s not the case,” he shared. “There is genuine drama. The contestants are fiercely competitive, and the stakes feel very real.” He praised the group’s talent and expressed enthusiasm for audiences to see the final design results.
The series, slated for a 2026 premiere, repurposes the iconic “Bachelor” mansion for a home renovation contest. Cameron confirmed a key distinction from its ABC counterpart: “There’s no romance involved here. Everyone was already in a relationship.”
Beyond the show, Cameron discussed his personal life with longtime girlfriend Tate Madden. The couple, who have been together since 2022, recently purchased a new home in Florida to renovate together. “Things are fantastic. It feels like I’m doing everything with my best friend,” he said. When asked about future plans, Cameron hinted that a proposal may be on the horizon, stating he is “working on things.”
He also commended Madden’s adjustment to public life, noting her resilience. “She’s developed a thicker skin and is navigating it all incredibly well. I’m very proud of her,” he added.
Cameron’s comments came during an event celebrating his ongoing partnership with the wellness brand CELSIUS, a collaboration he says aligns perfectly with his active lifestyle.
