FORMER PARTNER REACTS TO REALITY STAR’S UPCOMING ROLE AS ‘THE BACHELORETTE’

A former romantic partner of the newly announced star of “The Bachelorette” has publicly commented on the news, suggesting a desire to rekindle their relationship.

The individual, who shares a child with the reality personality, made the remark in the comments section of a social media post detailing the contestants who will be vying for her affection on the upcoming season. The since-viral comment read, “Making me wanna go win my baby momma back.”

This statement quickly drew reactions from online observers. Some urged the former partner to respect her new opportunity, with one commenter stating, “Please don’t! Leave her be!” Another speculated on the motivation behind the public message, writing, “He’s so calculated it’s kinda gross. I think he just wants to ruin the opportunity for her.”

The soon-to-be Bachelorette, a mother of three, gained public attention following her involvement in a controversial relationship dynamic within a specific religious community while previously married. Her subsequent relationship with the commenter was documented on a reality series before ending after an incident involving domestic violence allegations in 2023.

She confirmed her casting for the famous dating franchise in a recent podcast interview, where she discussed the logistical challenges of filming as a co-parent. During that conversation, she also acknowledged that her former partner was likely unaware of her decision to join the show and had not been formally notified.

“I don’t know exactly how he’ll react or feel,” she said at the time, noting they had agreed to see other people. “I assume that it’s like, ‘Whoa, she’s gonna be dating people, a lot…’ and that’s probably gonna be kind of hard to watch.”

Her season of the program is scheduled to premiere next year.
