SUPERMODEL PAYS RESPECTS IN PORTOFINO

Naomi Campbell was photographed in the Italian coastal town of Portofino this week, where she visited the final resting place of the late fashion editor Franca Sozzani. The supermodel was accompanied by Piero Piazzi, head of the Elite Model agency.

Campbell, known for her distinctive personal style, wore a vibrant, multicolored maxi skirt paired with a black blouse. During the solemn visit, she was seen carrying a bouquet of white roses. At one point, she appeared to wipe tears from her eyes after tying her hair back.

Sozzani, who passed away in 2016, was the influential editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia for nearly three decades. Her work left a significant mark on the fashion industry.

The visit comes in the wake of recent headlines concerning the model. Earlier this year, Campbell’s name appeared among the contacts of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. In a subsequent statement, Campbell condemned Epstein’s actions and expressed solidarity with his victims, calling the association a “character assassination” and stating she would not be defined by her past.
