ORIGINAL HOUSEWIFE WEIGHS IN ON POTENTIAL RETURN TO REALITY SERIES

In a recent podcast appearance, a founding star of a popular reality television franchise addressed the possibility of her return to the show, specifically commenting on the prospect of accepting a reduced, non-central role.

The personality, who was instrumental in launching the series, departed after its twelfth season. During the interview, she was asked about coming back in a “friend” capacity—a role reserved for supporting cast members who appear less frequently.

“I have no issue with the ‘friend’ role itself,” she stated. “The concept is fine. But for me, personally, considering I was there from the very first season, to come back in that capacity? I’m not sure that would be the right fit.”

While her future with that particular series remains uncertain, the television figure also discussed turning down a different high-profile opportunity. She revealed she was forced to decline an invitation to join a competitive reality show due to a pressing family health crisis involving her son.

“My son was in the hospital, and he’s still there,” she explained, noting that his ongoing medical condition made any filming commitment impossible at the time. She firmly refuted circulating rumors that her decision was financially motivated. “I saw the offer. The reason was never about the check; it was solely about my family.”

She provided an update on her son’s health, sharing that he has since shown significant improvement and is now walking—progress that was not evident when she had to make the difficult choice to step away from the project.

The star has a history of high-profile disputes with the network behind her original series, having previously filed a lawsuit alleging a toxic workplace culture. That legal action was later dropped, and she has recently indicated a willingness to collaborate with the network again under the right circumstances.
