In a case that intertwines personal tragedy with serious criminal allegations, a former reality television personality currently in jail has posted a public, emotional tribute to the man whose death led to her arrest.
The individual, known for her past appearance on a teen pregnancy documentary series, is charged with felony involuntary manslaughter. Authorities allege she intentionally distributed a dangerous drug cocktail—a combination of Fentanyl and Xylazine often referred to as “Tranq”—that resulted in a fatal overdose. She also faces additional drug distribution charges.
Despite the grave legal circumstances, she recently accessed an online memorial page for the deceased, John Mark Harris, to share her grief. In a lengthy comment dated March 3, she expressed sorrow at missing his funeral and celebrated their friendship.
“I wish I could’ve found out sooner and attended your celebration of life,” she wrote. She thanked him for being a “great friend” who made her “feel beautiful and cared for,” recalling that they bonded over a shared profession as chefs, a love of cooking, and personal struggles. She described him as a confidant who always offered honest advice.
Her message detailed the mundane moments she says she will miss most: waking up to his messages, watching television together, sharing cigarettes while talking about life, and receiving his recommendations for movies and shows. She called him a “truly good hearted & one of a kind man” and concluded with condolences to his family, writing, “I love you forever.”
This public mourning comes during an immensely difficult period for the accused. Just weeks before her arrest, her 16-year-old son died unexpectedly. Following his passing, she took to social media to express her devastation, calling the loss her “worst nightmare come true” and questioning how to continue after the death of a child.
