A social media personality known for covering Bravo network programming is facing allegations of spreading false information about a cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County ahead of the show’s new season. The claims center on whether the blogger, Christina Huber, had a lengthy, supportive relationship with cast member Katie Ginella, as she has publicly insisted.
Huber, who operates under the online moniker “The Bravo Babe,” recently presented what she described as evidence of her communications with Ginella, including a screenshot suggesting an audio call was initiated by the reality star. She has publicly stated that Ginella reached out to her privately, offering guidance and making disparaging remarks about a fellow cast member. Huber has accused Ginella of lying about their contact during filming for the show’s upcoming season.
However, multiple sources familiar with the production are now pushing back against this narrative. They characterize Huber’s actions as a transparent attempt to insert herself into the show’s storyline. One insider described the situation as “drama fabricated by someone who is clearly desperate to be part of the conversation,” labeling the entire episode “laughable.”
Contradicting Huber’s account of an 18-month dialogue, another source claims the two women only began speaking in October of last year, and that Huber’s version of events is “riddled with misinformation for her own benefit.”
This controversy emerges as Ginella has reportedly faced a challenging filming period for the nineteenth season, during which she has been confronted with various accusations from other cast members. Despite the pressure, sources indicate she has remained committed to the production.
The new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County is scheduled to premiere this week.
