LOLA LEON MAKES A DARING SARTORIAL STATEMENT AT PARIS FASHION WEEK

by Audrey Rock

The spotlight at the recent Saint Laurent Homme show in Paris was firmly captured by Lola Leon, the eldest daughter of a global pop icon, with a bold and revealing fashion choice. The 28-year-old musician and model attended the Autumn 25/26 runway presentation in a sheer black catsuit, worn without a bra and with only a minimal G-string underneath.

Leon, who performs under the moniker Lolahol, paired the transparent garment with an oversized black leather trench coat, which was draped casually over her shoulders. The styling left little to the imagination, showcasing a confident and risqué aesthetic. Her look was completed with simple gold jewelry, black stiletto heels, and her long, dark hair worn straight.

The ensemble drew immediate comparisons to a similar sheer look worn by singer Rina Sawayama for Saint Laurent several months prior, though Leon’s interpretation was notably more revealing. The appearance continues a pattern of headline-grabbing fashion moments from Leon, who previously turned heads at a Marc Jacobs show in New York City in a ripped, form-fitting dress.

Beyond the runway, Leon has spoken openly about navigating her public image and her relationship with her famous mother. In past interviews, she has acknowledged receiving advice about being remembered for more than just her appearance. She has also emphasized her financial independence, stating she did not rely on familial wealth after reaching adulthood, a decision she says was meant to foster self-reliance.

Despite her autonomous career path, the bond between mother and daughter appears strong. The pop superstar publicly celebrated Leon’s 28th birthday last fall with a social media post praising her daughter’s “big energy” and “big light,” and sharing a clip of Leon’s own musical work.

Leon’s Paris Fashion Week appearance solidifies her status as a fearless figure in the fashion world, unafraid to embrace a provocative and attention-commanding style.
