NEWLY RELEASED EMAILS PLACE PRINCESS DIANA AT SOCIAL EVENT WITH JEFFREY EPSTEIN

A trove of emails released by a congressional committee has revealed a new, though unverified, social connection between the late Princess Diana and the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The correspondence, dating to 2016, references an alleged encounter between the two figures decades prior.

The email in question, described as a draft for a biographical profile, contains a claim that Epstein was seen with his arm around the Princess of Wales at a 1994 dinner in London. The text places the event on the same evening that then-Prince Charles publicly acknowledged his relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles, noting that Diana wore her famous “revenge dress.” A separate version of the draft reportedly omits the detail about physical contact, stating only that they were seated beside one another.

Further emails indicate the event was a topic of discussion years later. In 2015, Epstein was reportedly asked to confirm details about the evening, though no record of his response has been found.

The released documents also include broader, unsubstantiated claims from the profile’s author regarding Epstein and a former associate, alleging a distasteful rivalry in their social pursuits. Separately, in a recorded prison interview, Epstein’s convicted accomplice suggested a mutual friend may have attempted to arrange a meeting between the financier and Diana, but did not confirm any relationship.

Princess Diana died in a Paris car accident in 1997. The emergence of these emails adds another layer to the complex and scrutinized social history of Jeffrey Epstein, whose associations with powerful and famous individuals continue to be examined. The claims within the correspondence remain anecdotal and have not been independently corroborated.
