ASHLEY PARK TEASES A GRAND EUROPEAN TOUR IN UPCOMING ‘EMILY IN PARIS’ SEASON

Actress Ashley Park has shared fresh insights into the highly anticipated fifth season of the popular Netflix series Emily in Paris, hinting at a season packed with travel and new adventures.

Reflecting on the recent trailer release, Park noted that the preview only scratches the surface. While it highlights the cast’s time in Rome, she revealed that filming spanned multiple iconic locations, making the production feel expansive. “It honestly felt like we filmed three movies,” Park remarked, alluding to significant storylines set in Paris and Venice, in addition to the Italian capital.

The change in filming locations brought its own unique experiences. Park fondly recalled the culinary shift while working in Italy, joking about consuming “so much pasta.” She contrasted the familiar, comfortable vibe of Paris—which she likened to returning to New York—with the excitement of exploring the distinct cultures of Rome and Venice.

Beyond her work on the series, Park is currently championing a personal passion project: a new art installation in New York City titled CHROMA: Tales Between Hues. Developed in collaboration with Genesis House, the immersive experience explores Korean folklore through color and emotion.

For Park, the project represents a meaningful fusion of her identity and career. “It feels like merging different parts of my life together,” she explained, emphasizing the importance of engaging with her Korean heritage in a contemporary format. She described the installation as an invitation for visitors to connect with universal emotions through color, light, and narrative, much like the experience of music or visual art.

Park also spoke to her evolving perspective on cultural representation. Once hesitant about the mantle of being a trailblazer, she now embraces the opportunity with pride. “It doesn’t feel like a burden,” she stated. “I am so proud to help bring these stories and this space to people.”

CHROMA: Tales Between Hues is now open to the public at Genesis House in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District.
