COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN REPORTED BETWEEN SUSSEX TEAM AND ROYAL HOUSEHOLDS

A reported failure in communication has created a new point of tension between the Duke of Sussex’s office and official royal residences. According to recent claims, the Duke’s team informed other royal households of his planned trip to Toronto, Canada, earlier this month as a standard courtesy. The visit coincided with Veterans Day observances and included meetings with military veterans and troops.

However, sources now indicate that neither Buckingham Palace nor Kensington Palace appears to have received any prior notification of the trip before it was reported in the press. When questioned about whether the courtesy notice was indeed given, representatives for the Duke did not provide a response.

Separately, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were involved in a minor controversy following a high-profile social event in Los Angeles. After attending a private birthday celebration, photographs of the couple were posted online but were subsequently removed. While no official reason was given for the deletion, it has been noted that the Duchess did not wear a traditional remembrance poppy at the event, a symbolic detail often observed in the United Kingdom during November. The Duke, a veteran himself, wore the emblem on his lapel.

The incidents highlight ongoing scrutiny of the couple’s public engagements and their coordination with wider royal communications.
