REALITY STAR ANNOUNCES END OF ENGAGEMENT

In a personal announcement made public on Tuesday, television personality Matt Roloff revealed that his engagement to Caryn Chandler has been called off.

The 63-year-old star of “Little People, Big World” shared the news in a social media post, stating the couple had mutually decided to part ways. “Life’s a continued journey and this is the right step for us at this time,” he wrote, adding that they remain on good terms and will cherish their shared memories. He concluded by thanking followers for their support and expressing his intent to move forward positively.

This relationship marked Roloff’s first serious partnership following his divorce from Amy Roloff in 2015, after 26 years of marriage. The connection between Matt and Caryn, who previously served as the long-time manager of the family’s Roloff Farms, had been a subject of public discussion. In past interviews, Roloff reflected on relationships evolving through different life stages, previously stating his heart was open to a future with Chandler.

The beginning of their romance was a point of contention. In a prior memoir, Amy Roloff suggested an inappropriate closeness developed between Matt and the farm manager while they were still married, claims which added a layer of controversy to the relationship’s narrative.

Despite past tensions, the former spouses have maintained a civil relationship, particularly for the sake of their four adult children. Roloff demonstrated this by contributing to Amy’s 2021 wedding festivities. His engagement to Chandler was announced in August 2023 and featured on the family’s reality series earlier this year. The path forward for both individuals is now separate as this chapter concludes.
