Returning to the televised singles resort for its tenth season, one participant acknowledged the unique emotional challenge of potentially watching a former partner form new connections. Justin Glaze, a familiar face from the franchise, recently discussed his mindset ahead of the new season, confirming his ex-girlfriend and fellow alum Susie Evans was also slated to appear.
Glaze emphasized that despite their romantic history, which ended in 2024, the pair have consistently maintained a foundation of mutual respect and kindness. “That consideration was certainly present,” he stated regarding her arrival. “We’ve always held a lot of love and admiration for each other, regardless of the status of our relationship.” He anticipated moments that might be emotionally complex but clarified there was no lingering bitterness.
His decision to go back to the beach was driven by a desire for new possibilities. At a point where he was not actively dating, Glaze viewed the invitation as a calculated risk worth taking. “I’ve seen this experience work out well for friends of mine from the show,” he explained. “I didn’t want to look back and wonder what might have happened if I didn’t go. It was an opportunity to remain open to meeting someone special.”
The premiere episodes have already hinted at tension, showing Glaze offering a symbolic rose to Evans, who declined the gesture. The situation left another participant, Lexi Young, in an awkward position, culminating in a dramatic exit.
Beyond the romantic pursuits, Glaze is channeling a personal passion into a new business venture: a line of ready-to-drink espresso martinis called Love Potion, set to launch this month. He described a shift from his previous career in finance toward this creative project, fueled by his social media community’s constant recommendations and jokes about the cocktail. “I immersed myself in it,” he said of developing the product. “Whether it’s for brunch or an evening drink, I think there’s never a bad time for one.”
When asked about other participants this season, including contestants from The Golden Bachelor, Glaze expressed admiration for their life experience but ruled out any romantic involvement. “You gain so much perspective from them, but for me, that line was clear,” he noted, adding with a laugh that he viewed them more in a familial light.
Bachelor in Paradise continues its latest season, airing now.
