A former reality television personality has spoken candidly about the profound emotional disconnect that characterized the later years of her marriage, revealing that physical intimacy became a hollow and obligatory act.
The individual, who was part of a publicly documented plural family, explained that while the early phase of the relationship was enjoyable, a significant shift occurred following her then-husband’s legal marriage to another partner. It was at that point she recognized a critical absence of deeper connection.
She described a comprehensive lack of support, stating she received little emotional, romantic, physical, or financial sustenance from the partnership, which ultimately led her to a state of self-reliance. What was once a satisfying physical relationship deteriorated into something transactional and devoid of meaning.
“It became just an act,” she reflected, suggesting both parties might have felt used. “It didn’t mean anything.”
As time passed, she characterized the dynamic as one of mutual apathy, where physical needs were met without emotional engagement. When prompted that intimacy had likely become a mere duty for both, she agreed, labeling the reality as “sad.”

“I don’t want you in my bed. We’re done,” she recalled stating.
