TRAGEDY STRIKES AS TWO YOUNG LIVES ARE LOST

by BreAnna Bell

The entertainment community is mourning the devastating and unexpected loss of two young people connected to former reality television stars.

In one heartbreaking case, seven-year-old Lailah Price, the daughter of Olivia Leedham, has passed away. The child’s death was announced by a family friend through an online fundraising campaign. According to the announcement, the young girl had been taken to the emergency room multiple times before she tragically suffered a seizure in the hospital and died on the morning of June 7. She is remembered as a joyful child who brought light to her family.

Leedham was previously in a relationship with David Eason, with whom she shares a son. The couple separated years ago, and she later obtained full custody of their child.

In a separate and equally tragic incident, 16-year-old Weston Gosa Jr., the son of former television personality Whitney Purvis, died on June 2. His mother shared the devastating news on social media, expressing profound grief and describing her son as perfect and her heart. She wrote of the unimaginable pain of losing a child and her pride in the young man he was becoming.

At this time, the specific causes of death for both young individuals have not been publicly disclosed. These events have cast a shadow of grief over their families and those who knew them.
