Speculation about a familiar face returning to the cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac has been addressed directly by the former star in question. Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, an original member of the series, has clarified her status amid fan rumors.
The conversation was sparked recently when Jackson-Jordan was seen at a social event attended by several current and former cast members. This appearance led to widespread conjecture about a potential return for the upcoming season.
In a recent statement, Jackson-Jordan confirmed that while she maintains a positive relationship with the network, there have been no discussions with producers about rejoining the show. She expressed affection for the series and stated she would welcome a return, but indicated the program’s focus appears to be shifting.
“The show is moving in a different direction,” she explained. “There’s a clear interest in casting younger individuals who are married and have small children. If you look at the current lineup, that’s not the predominant profile. The search seems to be for what you might call the ‘full package.’ I’ve even suggested some names I think would be a good fit.”
Regarding her presence at the event that fueled the rumors, Jackson-Jordan emphasized it was purely personal. She noted that her attendance was simply about friends supporting a friend, with no connection to the television series.
“I know viewers like to speculate, and I’m truly grateful for the support from people who want to see me back,” she said. “But as of now, that’s not something being planned.”
The news comes as the franchise continues to generate headlines. Another prominent figure from the series, Karen Huger, is currently serving a one-year sentence following a conviction related to a driving incident last year. Huger’s legal situation led to her absence from recent production events, with her management stating she had entered a private recovery program.
