In a recent public appearance, television personality Kim Zolciak has opened up about the definitive reason behind the end of her marriage to former professional athlete Kroy Biermann. Zolciak stated that an act of infidelity was the decisive factor that led to their separation in 2023.
The pair, who wed in 2011 and share six children, have been embroiled in a protracted and contentious divorce process. Zolciak claims that despite her having moved forward with a new relationship, Biermann has shown no willingness to finalize their divorce. She alleges he told her, upon her filing, that his intent was to “publicly destroy” her, a goal she says has consumed their proceedings for two years without resolution.
Zolciak is now in a relationship with entrepreneur Kyle Mowitz, whom she describes as “great” and a source of significant happiness. She clarified that both she and Mowitz are legally married but are each navigating their own separate divorce processes. The situation, she suggests, has created a unique bond between them.
Adding a familial perspective, one of Zolciak’s adult daughters publicly endorsed the new relationship, calling Mowitz a “good man.”
Reflecting on her past, Zolciak admitted she never imagined being with anyone other than Biermann. She connected with Mowitz through a mutual friend approximately two years after initiating divorce proceedings, noting they share the common experience of a difficult marital dissolution.
