A previously unaired interview with the late Virginia Giuffre has been broadcast, featuring stark allegations about her experiences with a former senior member of the British Royal Family.
In the footage, recorded in 2019 and recently aired, Giuffre described feeling like a possession during an encounter in London in 2001. “I was a toy. I was there to be passed around,” she stated. She expressed profound distress that the individual in question was a father, saying it was incomprehensible that someone with daughters could act in such a manner.
Giuffre, who was 17 at the time of the alleged incident, maintained a firm stance on the truth of her account despite the accused’s repeated denials. “He knows what happened, I know what happened. And there’s only one of us telling the truth,” she told interviewers.
The interview also contained serious allegations against a convicted accomplice in the wider scandal, whom Giuffre described as taking pleasure in the suffering of others.
This broadcast follows the posthumous publication of Giuffre’s memoir, which included an allegation that the former royal commented on her age by comparing her to his own young daughters at the time. She further recalled a brief sexual encounter for which she said she was later paid a substantial sum by the convicted financier at the center of the case.
The airing of this testimony comes after the subject was removed from his official royal duties and titles earlier this year. Giuffre died in April.
