FORMER REALITY STAR REFLECTS ON PAST ROMANCE AND EMBRACES SINGLE LIFE

Jenn Tran, known to audiences from a popular dating competition, has opened up about her personal life following her time in the spotlight. The conversation touched on a past relationship that blossomed during her participation in a televised dance competition.

During the 2024 season, Tran was partnered with professional dancer Sasha Farber. Reports at the time suggested their professional chemistry extended into a personal connection, with rumors that she spent significant time at his home. When recently asked about the nature of their living situation, Tran was evasive, smiling as she acknowledged she was “over there a lot” during that period.

“During the competition, we were together constantly, practicing for hours every day,” she noted. “It’s a different dynamic now.”

The two now live on opposite coasts—Tran in Miami and Farber in Los Angeles—but she confirmed they still communicate occasionally. Reports last year indicated the pair had ended their relationship after nearly a year, though neither had made a formal public announcement about their romance.

Now focused on her medical studies, with the goal of becoming a dermatologist, Tran says her perspective on relationships has shifted. She described leaving behind the intense pressure to find a lifelong partner that defined her experience on the dating show.

“I was very much in the mindset of wanting to be engaged and settled,” she recalled. “Now, I’m the complete opposite. I’m really enjoying my single life, going on dates, and doing things without having to consider someone else’s plans. I’m having a lot of fun.”

She humorously added that she assumes “no one in Miami is looking for anything serious either,” and she is not currently seeking a committed relationship.

Tran also shared her thoughts on the evolving landscape of reality television dating shows, expressing a degree of skepticism about contestants’ motivations in the modern era, where social media fame often becomes a factor. She offered a measured “good luck” to an upcoming lead of such a program, questioning how the process aligns with that person’s personal beliefs.

Despite her own outcome not resulting in a lasting engagement, Tran views her television experience positively. “I didn’t find my forever person,” she concluded, “but it taught me lessons I’ll carry with me.”
