The photos, shared online by her husband, feature the couple in a festive, beach-inspired setting. She is seen wearing a vibrant red bikini, a marked contrast to the health challenges she has faced.
Those challenges were detailed in a recent interview, where she explained that her weight loss was an unintended consequence of a severe dental infection. The issue escalated into multiple surgeries over a nine-month period, during which she was restricted to a diet of soft foods and required a lengthy course of antibiotics.
“It was a cascade of problems,” she recounted. “One infection led to another, and the situation became so severe that it required intervention in my jawbone.” She also disclosed experiencing unrelated, concerning growths on her eyes during the same period.
The constant pain and dietary restrictions took a significant toll. “Every time we believed it was resolved, the pain and swelling would return,” she stated, adding with a touch of humor, “It was a year where people really could have felt sorry for me.”
