AMANZA SMITH TEASES TURBULENT NEW SEASON OF HIT REAL ESTATE SERIES

As production begins on the upcoming season of the popular Netflix reality series Selling Sunset, cast member Amanza Smith is signaling a stormy road ahead. In a recent interview, Smith described the early days of filming for the ninth season as “chaotic,” hinting at significant drama already unfolding among the luxury real estate agents.

Smith, a mother of two, outlined her personal goals for the new year, which include improving her sleep habits and finding a romantic partner. However, she acknowledged that her aim to avoid on-screen conflict might be her most challenging objective. Reflecting on past seasons, she noted that attempts to mediate disputes have often backfired, leading her to adopt a strategy of staying removed from the fray whenever possible.

While interpersonal tensions are a staple for viewers, Smith suggested that fashion may take center stage this season, with the entire cast elevating their style. She observed that the series has evolved, with fashion now sharing top billing with real estate and the personal dramas of the agents.

Professionally, Smith has been balancing her real estate work with a growing focus on her art. She confirmed she remains active in property sales but has been heartened by the show’s platform amplifying her creative pursuits. Several of her paintings, featured in a previous season, have since sold to collectors across the globe, from New York and London to Mexico City and Australia.

Beyond the show, Smith serves as a board advisor for a fashion technology company. She described the platform as using a preference-based algorithm, similar to popular dating apps, to help users discover and curate their personal style.
