As the new season of a popular reality series about affluent women in Orange County prepares to debut, a prominent online commentator has publicly accused one of its stars of dishonesty regarding a behind-the-scenes feud.
The blogger, Christina Huber, who operates under the social media alias “The Bravo Babe,” claims she was contacted directly by cast member Katie Ginella. According to Huber, Ginella described a fellow housewife, Tamra Judge, in negative terms and offered support. Huber states these conversations occurred over the course of more than a year.
The controversy centers on the upcoming season premiere, where the alleged phone call is reportedly addressed. Huber asserts that when confronted on camera, Ginella denied the interaction. To substantiate her claim, Huber has shared a screenshot of her direct messages that appears to show an audio call initiated by Ginella’s account.
“It was shocking and disappointing to see her lie when confronted, especially knowing evidence exists,” Huber stated. She further alleged that Ginella’s husband was also involved in the calls and criticized the cast member for not providing her own phone records during filming, calling it a disrespect to the production team.
This allegation emerges amidst reports that the filming schedule was challenging for Ginella, with sources suggesting she faced significant criticism from other cast members but chose to remain and defend herself.
The drama coincides with the brief, highly publicized departure of co-star Tamra Judge during production. Judge cited personal reasons for initially leaving the series, stating the environment conflicted with real-life pressures, though she subsequently returned to filming.
Ginella has denied the blogger’s account of events. Representatives for Judge declined to comment on the specific allegations.
The new season is scheduled to begin airing this week, with this conflict expected to be a central storyline.
