CANDACE OWENS PRESENTS PHONE AS EVIDENCE IN DISPUTE OVER KIRK MESSAGES

In a recent online broadcast, commentator Candace Owens directly addressed mounting skepticism over her claims of a private correspondence with the late activist Charlie Kirk. Displaying her mobile device to the camera, Owens scrolled through a text message thread dated to 2018, asserting its authenticity to her audience.

“These are not fabricated,” Owens stated, pointing to the contact information and timestamps on her screen. She characterized the widespread doubt about the messages’ origins as “absolute nonsense,” questioning the motive for such a deception. “The truth is on my side,” she concluded during the segment.

The messages in question, which Owens first publicized weeks ago, contain an exchange where the other participant allegedly expressed a persistent, grim intuition about a premature death. Kirk was fatally shot earlier this year while speaking at a university event.

Following the broadcast, Owens’s presentation was met with vocal support from followers online, who praised her for providing what they see as direct evidence. Yet, Owens anticipated continued criticism, suggesting online detractors would simply “move the goal posts.”

The episode is the latest development in a series of unverified theories about the circumstances of Kirk’s death that have circulated online since the tragedy. Owens has been a prominent voice in amplifying these discussions.
