CAST OF POPULAR REALITY SERIES TO REUNITE FOR MEMORIAL CRUISE FOLLOWING CO-STAR’S PASSING

Members of the original cast from the reality television series “Floribama Shore” are set to reunite for a special group cruise, an event framed as both a celebration and a tribute following the recent loss of one of their own.

The reunion was announced by cast member Nilsa Prowant in a social media video. She revealed the group will embark on a four-day voyage to the Bahamas aboard the Royal Caribbean ship Wonders of the Seas. The trip is planned as an opportunity for the former roommates to reconnect and honor the memory of their late co-star, Kirk Medas, who passed away in early May at the age of 33.

“We’re all getting back together,” Prowant stated, addressing fan speculation. “I think this is something that will bring us all together again in a really positive way.”

The cruise is also being offered to fans, with the cast planning exclusive meet-and-greet events during the sailing. Prowant mentioned that fellow original cast members Aimee Hall, Candace Rice, Jeremiah Buoni, Gus Smyrnios, Codi Butts, and Mattie Breaux are all confirmed to attend.

Hall echoed the sentiment on her own social media, writing, “The gang is back together,” and noting that their “brother Kirk” would be riding with them in spirit. She previously confirmed Medas’s death, sharing a poignant story about encountering a dolphin shortly before receiving the official news, which she interpreted as a farewell connected to their shared love of the ocean.

Medas had been hospitalized with a severe case of necrotizing pancreatitis prior to his passing. The series, which followed the group’s lives in the Florida Panhandle, concluded its run in 2022 after four seasons. This organized cruise marks the first full-group gathering announced since the show went off the air.
