DAUGHTER OF REALITY TV PERSONALITY COMPLETES JAIL SENTENCE FOR DRUG POSSESSION

Alexa Curtin, the daughter of former television personality Lynne Curtin, has been released from custody after serving a short jail sentence related to a drug possession case.

Court records confirm Curtin was sentenced to six days in jail after pleading guilty to charges of methamphetamine possession. She received credit for time already served, resulting in a three-day incarceration. The sentence stems from a 2022 incident where she was found in possession of the drug and associated paraphernalia.

The legal proceedings faced multiple delays due to Curtin’s repeated failure to appear at scheduled court hearings. After missing a hearing in late 2022, a bench warrant was issued for her arrest the following August. She was cited on several occasions in 2024 for outstanding warrants but was not taken into custody until this past June, following a traffic stop.

This recent conviction adds to a history of legal issues for Curtin, who has faced previous charges including petty theft, vandalism, and driving under the influence in 2019.

Her mother, Lynne Curtin, gained public recognition during her tenure on a popular reality television series, where Alexa and her sister occasionally appeared. The family’s financial and marital struggles were also documented on the program. Lynne Curtin’s long-standing divorce proceedings from Frank Curtin remain unresolved, with the two still legally married.
