The first video footage of Sean “Diddy” Combs from inside a federal prison has surfaced, showing the music executive with a new appearance and detailing his daily routine.

Combs, now serving a 50-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey, was recorded interacting with another individual and preparing for work. In the clip, he is seen wearing a gray sweatsuit and a brown hat, his hair and beard noticeably gray. His reported assignment is within the prison’s chapel media library, a role that involves managing films and religious materials for the inmate population.

After completing his shift, he was filmed walking through a facility hallway, briefly smiling and conversing with another prisoner. The institution has stated it did not authorize the release of the video.

Transferred to this facility in late October, Combs began his sentence following convictions on charges related to prostitution. His legal team requested the move, citing the availability of a specific rehabilitation program that could potentially shorten his time served.

Sources describe his current position as a sought-after role among inmates. His responsibilities are said to include organizational and clerical tasks in the chapel library, an environment described as positive. Previous reports had indicated concerns about his safety at his initial place of detention.

Combs is projected to be released in 2028.
