Former President Donald Trump has announced his intention to release the results of a recent medical scan, which he described as “perfect,” while simultaneously conceding he is unsure which part of his body was examined.
In remarks to reporters, Trump stated, “If you want it released, I’ll release it.” Specifics regarding his annual physical examination have not been provided by his office, and details about the nature and focus of the medical imaging remain undisclosed.
The former president directly addressed speculation that the scan was related to an assessment of his mental acuity. He firmly rejected any such connection, emphasizing he recently completed a cognitive test successfully. “It was just an MRI. What part of the body? It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and I aced it,” he said.
This announcement follows the former president’s recent online rebuttal to a media report suggesting he has exhibited signs of fatigue. In that response, he vigorously defended his energy levels and work ethic, writing that he has “never worked so hard” in his life and attributing such reports to political opposition. He further cited strong poll numbers and recent medical evaluations, declaring himself in excellent health.
Despite these assurances, public attention on Trump’s health has persisted, fueled by observations made at public events and previous medical disclosures. Earlier this year, he was diagnosed with a circulatory condition affecting his legs. Some observers have questioned the timing of recent medical evaluations.
A physician involved in the former president’s care described him as being in “exceptional health” following a recent check-up, characterizing it as a routine follow-up appointment. However, the lack of clarification about the specific type of “advanced medical imaging” he underwent continues to generate discussion and conjecture.
