Reality television star Liv Walker has returned to screens, but fans will see a different side of the personality who first captivated audiences on Love Island USA.
Walker, who rose to fame during the show’s sixth season, is now featured in the follow-up series Love Island: Beyond the Villa. The new program shifts focus from the initial search for romance to documenting the lives of the cast after their time in the iconic Fiji villa.
In a recent discussion, Walker confirmed a significant personal development: she is happily in a new relationship. Choosing to keep details private for now, she hinted her partner is an athlete and expressed excitement about this next phase of her life.
“Right now, I’m really happy and not looking anymore,” Walker stated. “We’ve decided to keep things private at the start, which has felt special, but I’m looking forward to sharing more soon.”
Beyond the Villa offered Walker a chance to showcase aspects of her life beyond dating. She described the experience as surprisingly personal, delving into friendships and the complexities of life after reality TV fame.
“The original show is about romance and connections,” Walker explained. “This series allowed for more honest conversations about who we are as people, our friendships, and everything that’s happened since. It felt deeper and more meaningful than I expected.”
The series also served as a reunion for the close-knit cast, which Walker called her “best friends.” While she enjoyed reconnecting with them, she admitted to having mixed feelings watching the subsequent season of the main show, noting it was “definitely strange” to see new contestants in familiar settings.
Though she hasn’t watched the latest season in full, Walker keeps up with highlights and offered support for the new participants, acknowledging the unique emotional journey they are undertaking.
“It makes me want to give them advice,” she said with a laugh. “But they’re doing great. It’s fun to be a viewer now and see everything from the other side.”
