KEY FIGURE IN POLITICAL ASSASSINATION CASE VANISHES

In a new development surrounding the murder of political commentator Charlie Kirk, the partner of the accused gunman has reportedly disappeared from public view.

Lance Twiggs, 22, who was in a relationship with alleged assassin Tyler Robinson, has not been seen at the couple’s former residence in St. George, Utah, for several weeks. Authorities confirmed that Twiggs, who is reportedly in the process of a gender transition, had initially been cooperative with the federal investigation into Kirk’s killing but has since maintained an extremely low profile.

While the individual’s current location is unknown, a vehicle registered to them was recently seen at their parents’ home. Neighbors near the couple’s townhouse noted an absence of activity since Robinson’s arrest.

Twiggs’ relationship with their family has been described as strained. While one family member cited behavioral issues, friends contested that characterization, describing Twiggs as a hardworking and caring person who had been forced to leave the family home.

The disappearance adds another layer of complexity to the case, which began when Kirk was fatally shot during a campus event. Robinson allegedly confessed the crime to Twiggs prior to his arrest. Investigators have not indicated whether Twiggs is considered at risk or is intentionally avoiding contact.
