KODY BROWN CITES PHYSICAL ATTRACTION AS KEY REASON FOR CONSIDERING NEW POLYGAMOUS MARRIAGE

In a revealing conversation, reality television personality Kody Brown has opened up about the primary factor driving his contemplation of re-entering a polygamous lifestyle. Brown, who is currently in a monogamous marriage with his wife Robyn, suggested that physical appearance would be a central motivation for seeking an additional spouse.

During a recent televised discussion, Brown directly addressed the subject with Robyn. “My primary motivation, I’m afraid at this stage in my life, would be… just how good looking she is,” he stated, implying a focus on sexual attraction. He emphasized he was not joking about this criterion.

The couple’s history with plural marriage is complex. Brown was previously in a polygamous union with three other women before his relationships with them dissolved, leaving him legally married only to Robyn since 2025. Their latest dialogue was prompted by a family member’s question about whether they still practiced plural marriage.

Robyn Brown shared her own conflicted feelings on the matter, reflecting on her personal identity. “I feel like if this is still something that’s a part of me, then wouldn’t I live it?” she questioned. She revealed that before marrying Kody, she had declined marriage proposals from other suitors because they were not willing to live a polygamous life.

While acknowledging a theoretical “value” in adding a supportive partner to their family, Robyn also outlined stringent conditions for such an arrangement, including a guarantee of a harmonious and dream-like dynamic—a prospect Kody immediately dismissed as impossible. He expressed a firm disinterest in reintroducing the potential “drama” associated with multiple marital relationships.

Despite the emotional weight of the discussion, with both admitting the idea of abandoning polygamy “broke” their hearts, they ultimately reaffirmed their current path. The conversation concluded with a mutual agreement to remain in a monogamous marriage, for now.
