PAUL ANKA CLARIFIES LONGSTANDING RUMORS ABOUT FRANK SINATRA’S ANATOMY

In a recent interview, music icon Paul Anka addressed one of the more persistent pieces of folklore surrounding his late friend, the legendary entertainer Frank Sinatra. Anka, known for classic hits like “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” dismissed exaggerated claims about Sinatra’s physical endowment with a mix of humor and candor.

When directly questioned about the rumors, Anka laughed off the speculation. “Yeah, it was huge,” he stated, before quickly downplaying its significance. “I don’t know what that does for you!”

Anka recounted spending time with Sinatra and the famed Rat Pack in Las Vegas during the 1960s, including visits to saunas. He joked about the awkwardness of the situation, noting, “I had trouble with eye contact.” He also clarified that, in his view, Sinatra’s reputation in that department was overshadowed by that of comedian Milton Berle, whom Anka cited as the true standout.

The topic of Sinatra’s physique has been a subject of gossip for decades, often fueled by anecdotes from his inner circle. His third wife, actress Ava Gardner, was famously quoted in a biography claiming a specific and substantial measurement, a remark that has echoed through Hollywood lore. Additionally, Sinatra’s valet once revealed that the singer had custom undergarments designed to discreetly manage his profile in public.

Anka and Sinatra shared a long professional history, most notably collaborating on the English lyrics for Sinatra’s signature anthem, “My Way.” Anka’s recent comments aim to put the longstanding personal rumors to rest, framing them as an overblown and humorous footnote in the larger story of a monumental career.
