PRINCE WILLIAM ATTENDS ROYAL ASCOT ALONGSIDE THE KING AMID PRINCESS OF WALES’S ABSENCE

Prince William was present at the prestigious Royal Ascot horse racing event this week, joining his father, King Charles III, and Queen Camilla. His attendance came following the last-minute cancellation by his wife, the Princess of Wales, who had been scheduled to appear.

The Prince of Wales arrived in traditional morning dress, including a top hat, for the annual gathering. He participated in the carriage procession and is set to present a trophy during the multi-day race meet.

The absence of the Princess of Wales has drawn public attention, coming several months after she shared news regarding her health earlier this year. Sources indicate her decision was made out of caution, prioritizing a gradual return to public duties. It is understood she is focusing on her recovery and family during the summer months.

Just days before Ascot, the princess was seen in good spirits alongside her family at the Trooping the Colour ceremony, marking the King’s official birthday.

King Charles III, who is also undergoing treatment for a health condition, carried out his duties at the event. Other family members, including the mother of the Princess of Wales, were also in attendance at the races.
