A prominent figure from a long-running reality series has made a serious new allegation, claiming a close family member deliberately set her up to repeat a damaging rumor on camera. The star also suggested a potential shift in her stance toward a prolonged family rift.
During a recent podcast appearance, the reality personality addressed a past storyline involving infidelity rumors about a co-star’s husband. She asserted that the initial gossip came directly from her brother.
“My brother is the one that told me about the rumor,” she stated. “Looking back, I was set up… he knew that I was going to say it on the show.” She further alleged that another cast member had been the original source who relayed the information to her brother.
Reflecting on the filming situation, she described feeling pressure to create engaging television. “We’re filming a TV show… The producers are like, ‘Be on.’ So I’m trying to… be a producer in my head,” she explained, noting her many years on the program.
Regarding her decision to share the hearsay with two other women close to the subject, she defended her actions as an attempt to be supportive. “I’m like, ‘Guys, there’s a rumor out there… You guys are her friends. You should let her know,'” she recounted. She has since expressed regret, stating, “I shouldn’t have said anything about her husband,” and cited this regret as her reason for mending fences with the co-star involved.
The co-star at the center of the old rumors has since dismissed the ongoing discussion. “I don’t care anymore. It’s not a story I concern myself with any longer,” she said in a statement. Meanwhile, a source close to the cast member accused of starting the rumor dismissed the latest claims as “recycled old lies” meant to generate attention.
In a separate but related development, the reality star has signaled a possible thaw in a long-standing family conflict. On her own podcast, she acknowledged that her position has evolved over time.
“Never say never,” she remarked, describing her current stance as having her door “cracked open” for a potential reconciliation. She emphasized her role as a mother and a desire to set a positive example. “We could rehash things and then where’s that gonna get us? Nowhere,” she concluded. “You just have to let the past go and move forward.”
