Amidst the ongoing buzz surrounding the latest season of a popular reality franchise, one of its prominent figures is expanding her horizons. Sutton Stracke, known for her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has recently filmed a pilot for a new competitive game show.
The project, taped alongside fashion designer Pol’ Atteu and his husband, media personality Patrik Simpson, is casting for performers with distinctly unusual skills. Promotional materials for the pilot explicitly distance it from mainstream talent competitions, instead calling for acts that are “bizarre, unique, unconventional, special and different.”
The show’s search is open to a wide range of performers—including dancers, singers, magicians, ventriloquists, and animal acts—but with a critical caveat: the talent must possess a novel or unexpected twist. The casting notice humorously warns that individuals who could easily qualify for established network talent shows need not apply, emphasizing a desire for acts the world “never needed to know” existed.
Stracke’s collaboration with Atteu and Simpson appears to be a natural progression. The trio previously connected while guest-hosting a satellite radio program, building a rapport that has now extended to this new venture. Atteu praised Stracke’s vibrant on-set presence, noting she brought an air of celebration to the production. Simpson echoed the sentiment, describing her as a charismatic and outspoken Southern personality.
The pilot’s filming comes at a time when interest from other reality television personalities is reportedly growing, suggesting potential for the unconventional format to attract a notable audience.
