REALITY STAR’S HUSBAND FILES FOR DIVORCE AMIDST LEGAL TROUBLES

Legal documents reveal that Aaron Phypers has initiated divorce proceedings from his wife, actress and reality television personality Denise Richards. The filing, submitted on July 7, cites irreconcilable differences and lists the date of separation as July 4. Phypers has also requested spousal support.

The couple had been married for six years and were recently featured together on a Bravo television series, where they appeared to be in good spirits. Neither party has issued a public statement regarding the split.

This development follows recent public comments from Richards’ adult daughter, Sami Sheen, who stated on a podcast that she was not personally close with Phypers, noting they rarely spoke or spent time together. She did, however, acknowledge his support for her mother’s career endeavors.

The divorce filing coincides with significant legal challenges for Phypers. He is currently facing a civil lawsuit alleging fraud related to his wellness business. The suit, filed by the trustee of a deceased client’s estate, accuses Phypers of breach of contract and making false promises.

According to the complaint, the client, an art director diagnosed with a rare cancer, sought alternative treatment from Phypers’ frequency medicine center in 2023. The lawsuit claims Phypers guaranteed a high success rate and offered a partial refund if the treatment failed. When the patient’s condition worsened and she requested the promised refund, the suit alleges Phypers failed to pay, instead suggesting further treatments. The patient passed away in May 2024, with the trustee claiming Phypers later acknowledged the debt but provided excuses for non-payment of approximately $63,000. The suit seeks general and punitive damages, citing intentional misconduct.

Separately, court records from June 2024 indicate Phypers faced legal action from creditors for allegedly defaulting on a repayment plan for a six-figure debt.
