A former reality television personality has launched a new, explosive allegation against the network that made her famous, claiming it participated in the “grooming” of her teenage daughter for continued on-screen appearances.
In a recent social media broadcast, the mother stated her child was manipulated by an entire entertainment franchise. She stopped short of providing full details, citing potential legal repercussions, but was adamant in her accusations.
“Children can be groomed by more than just parents,” she asserted during the live stream. “My child was groomed by a whole franchise. I am fighting for her not to be on television anymore, but others still want her to be.”
The comments appeared to be directed, in part, at the girl’s father, who also appears on the program. The mother accused him of repeatedly telling their daughter that appearing on the show was “her job,” even doing so in front of production crews.
“I have years of evidence,” she claimed. “They don’t want to go to court because my receipts are long.”
This is not the first time such serious terminology has been used. Just last month, the mother accused the girl’s father and his wife of similar conduct, alleging a pattern of behavior since childhood designed to keep the girl within the television environment. She maintains full legal custody but says the estrangement is being enforced by the father and his spouse.
The mother left the long-running series, citing her daughter’s welfare as a primary reason. The relationship between mother and daughter has been publicly strained for some time. In a previous season of the program, the teenager sent a definitive text message, stating the decision to cut ties was her own and not influenced by others.
In conversations with other cast members, the daughter elaborated, expressing frustration with her mother’s inconsistent presence and a pattern of blaming others for their fractured relationship. She described their infrequent interactions, often filmed for the show, as feeling disingenuous.
“You don’t see me, you don’t text me, and then when there’s a camera, you try to act like everything is perfect,” the daughter said, characterizing the behavior as “fake.” She stated she was “done” with attempting to have a relationship under those circumstances.
The allegations present a stark critique of the reality television industry, highlighting ongoing tensions between family privacy, minor welfare, and the demands of a long-running televised narrative.
