The upcoming tenth season of Bachelor in Paradise is poised to break new ground by featuring a unique blend of contestants, bringing together younger franchise favorites and alumni from The Golden Bachelor. This novel mix has ignited speculation about the potential for cross-generational connections on the beach.
Ashley Iaconetti, a well-known alum of the franchise, recently shared her thoughts on the dynamic. She anticipates there may be some playful, lighthearted flirtation between the different age groups, though she doubts it will evolve into serious romance.
“I suspect we’ll see some cheeky, tongue-in-cheek flirting, but likely nothing more,” she commented. “There’s an interesting double standard at play. I think audiences would find it amusing to see the older women engaging with the younger men, but the reverse scenario might not be received as warmly.”
While Iaconetti expects friendly interactions, she would be surprised if any full-fledged relationships form from these age-gap encounters. Her attention is also on several specific contestants she hopes to see make waves. She expressed particular enthusiasm for the potential return of Golden Bachelor alum Nancy Hulkower, noting her stunning appearance and genuine appeal. From the younger cohort, she highlighted Kat Izzo and Dale Moss as compelling additions who are sure to bring compelling drama to the screen.
Iaconetti also revealed she’ll be cheering for her friend Justin Glaze, praising his expressive nature. She expressed curiosity about whether Susie Evans would appear and how her dynamic with other contestants might unfold, drawing parallels to her own journey on the show.
Beyond the beach drama, Iaconetti is currently focused on her family and a new partnership. As a mother of two young sons, she is promoting a collaborative line of potty-training products, sharing anecdotes about her toddler’s growing independence during the process.
Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 is scheduled to premiere on July 7th.
