The recent Netflix documentary centered on Victoria Beckham’s career evolution from pop icon to fashion designer has drawn attention not only for its content but for a conspicuous absence. The film, which premiered in London in October, featured her husband David and three of their children—Romeo, Cruz, and Harper—yet notably excluded any recent footage of their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham.
While archival childhood clips of Brooklyn are included, his absence from current segments of the production has fueled ongoing public speculation about reported strains within the family. This omission aligns with a pattern of missed major family events. Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were absent from Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week presentation in September 2024, as well as from a subsequent show in 2025. They also did not attend David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration in May, an event where his siblings were present.
Rumors of discord first circulated widely following Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 wedding, with reports of a tense moment between the bride and Victoria. Although Peltz has since downplayed any conflict, the couple’s apparent distance from family gatherings has continued to be noted. An August vow renewal ceremony for Brooklyn and Nicola, to which David and Victoria were reportedly not invited, was described by sources as a significant blow to the parents.
Further hinting at a divide, Brooklyn’s brothers have appeared to make subtle, pointed remarks on social media, while Victoria has publicly championed family unity. In a September interview, she emphasized the Beckhams’ traditional values and mutual support, stating, “We always show up for each other.” Despite these assertions, the documentary’s editorial choices have placed the family dynamics under renewed scrutiny, leaving viewers to question the current state of relations behind the public façade.
